Building Interaction Into Your Online Course

You’ve already decided that you’re ready to author online and you have your content organized. Now it’s time to face the ultimate challenge in online learning - making it interactive!

Interaction in online JVC LT-32FX77 courses is a two-edged sword. On one hand you want students to participate. This enhances their learning by letting them question and discuss issues in the course. On the other hand, as the instructor, you need to decide the level of interaction you want to have with each student - and build your courses accordingly.

As an illustration, let me relate a poor choice I made in a course I wrote several years ago. Because I wanted everyone involved, I required that each student post at least one message per week to the discussion group. In addition, I required that they respond to two other messages. Simple? Yes. But because I had decided that my level холодильник Samsung of involvement was to respond to every posting, I was faced with 3 messages for every student every week - and this was only the minimum requirement! I soon found myself bogged Пресса down in responding to an overwhelming number of messages.

To decide on your level of involvement, let’s look at 5 levels of interactions you can provide.

1. Respond to every email. At this level of interaction, you are reading and responding to every email or discussion sent. Beware. While this may be effective at the beginning of a discussion when there is little interaction, you’ll soon be overwhelmed just responding to and encouraging students.

2. Respond to every nth email. This is a more rational view. Here you can decide to pick every 5th posting and respond to it. The danger is that you’ll miss a student’s best posting or that you’ll miss an important question.

3. Respond to 1 message per student per week. You ca

Five Most Common Mistaken Beliefs About Joint Venture Marketing

Apart from being the fastest, easiest, and most profitable strategy for attracting clients and boosting profits in any small business, there are so many other advantages of joint venture marketing for all parties involved. So, why aren’t all small business owners implementing joint ventures?

Here’s a partial list of the most common mistaken beliefs about joint venture marketing. I’ve picked the top five to shorten your reading time, but you can listen to more mistaken beliefs when you tune in to hear me being interviewed by Doug Hudiburg at http://tinyurl.com/cov4d.

Mistaken Belief #1: That There’s A High Risk Of Losing Money.

If you’re like most small business owners, then the fear of losing money is inevitable because you’re probably on a shoestring budget to start with. However, you can’t lose money when you’re paying for results only. You only pay out a commission when your joint venture partners’ clients buy from you. So, you actually get the revenue before incurring the expense.

The only other pre-sale expenses are production costs and printing/postage costs for letters, coupons or vouchers. Whether you do joint ventures or not, these are costs you’ll incur anyway, because you’ll need those coupons or vouchers for other marketing tactics. So, the belief that there’s a high risk of losing money is misplaced.

Mistaken Belief #2: That You’ll Lose Your Clients.

Your clients will purchase other products and services whether you like it or not. So, Toshiba 47Z3030DR it Bosch DHU 625 P would do your business good to recommend what they purchase and make a profit from it.

In fact, recommending high-quality products and services to your clients will strengthen your relationship with them. How? Firstl

Hey Wimp Don’t Honk After The Fact!

There’s a quirky little motoring behavior that I’m Полет witnessing in Southern California, and GPS навигатор Mustek it may be catching on elsewhere, that’s driving me batty.

Timer Magic for Writers

If your writing muscle isn’t in shape, writing a novel may seem like a sheer, unscalable cliff. (”Gee, I don’t think I can write today. I left my climbing shoes in my other backpack…”)

Keep in mind that you don’t need to write the whole book today, so stop beating yourself up. Instead, just start moving, one footstep at a time.

What Constitutes a Good Life?

What Constitutes a Good Life?

The ultimate expression of life is not a paycheck. The ultimate expression of life is not a Mercedes. The ultimate expression of life is not a million dollars or a bank account or a home. Here’s the ultimate expression of life in my opinion, and that is living the good life. Here’s what we must ask constantly, “What for me would be a good life?” And you have to keep going over and over the list. A list including areas such as spirituality, economics, health, relationships and recreation. What would constitute a good life? I’ve got a short list.

1) Number one, productivity.
You won’t be happy if you don’t produce. The game of life is not rest. We must rest, but only long enough to gather strength to get back to productivity. What’s the reason for the seasons and the seeds, the soil and the sunshine, the rain and the miracle of life? It’s to see what you can do with it. To try your hand, other people have tried their hand; here’s what they did. You Smeg KD 9 X try your hand to see what you can do. So part of life is productivity.

2) Next are good friends.
Friendship is probably the greatest support system in the world. Don’t deny yourself the time to develop this support system. Nothing can match it. It’s extraordinary in its benefit. Friends are those wonderful people who know all about you and still like you. A few years ago I lost one of my dearest friends. He died at age 53 - heart attack. David is gone, but he was one of my very special friends. I used to say of David that if I was stuck in a foreign jail somewhere accused unduly and if they would allow me one phone call, I would call David. Why? He would come and get me. That’s a friend. Somebody who would come and get you. Now we’ve all got casual friends. And if you called them they would say, “Hey, if you get back, call me we’ll have a party.” So you’ve got to have both, real friends and casual friends.

3) Next on the list of a good life is <a href=”http://refri.com.ua/bra
